Essential Oils are the naturally occurring volatile oils obtained by steam distillation or cold pressing (expression), having the characteristic aroma of the plant part from which it was derived. These 100% pure oils are
neat, meaning they have not been processed, diluted or manipulated in any way with solvents or other
additives. Essential oils are the volatile liquids that are distilled from plants (including their respective parts such as seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruit, etc.). One of the factors that determine the purity and therapeutic value of an oil is its chemical
constituents.

Essential oils are essences sourced from plants around the world and produced in a 100% pure, organic, or wild-crafted form. The healing power of essential oils has been known for
centuries. Essential oils are one of the greatest resources of the world with
surprisingly potent and outstanding properties. Essential oils have provided needed therapy for ages, and unlike chemical drugs, essential oils do not remain in the body and they leave no
toxins. Essential oils are lipids soluble that can easily penetrate a cell membrane. If the cell membrane has hardened, essential oils have the ability to soften it, penetrate and re-oxygenate the
cell.
Essential oils are the liquids extracted from a plant, typically through distillation while the oils extracted with the use of a solvent, commonly water, and are usually known as fragrant oils. Carrier oils are those oils, when mixed with essential oils, are used for skin
products. Essential oils are generally defined as the volatile liquids obtained by steam distillation, hydrodistillation, or hydrodiffusion of aromatic plants. Historically, cold-pressed citrus oils are also considered to be essential oils even though they are not
distilled. Essential Oils are sensitive and must be stored with care. Do not store them near heat, in light or where moisture is present and keep them tightly
capped.
Tea Tree Oil
First Aid in a bottle
Tea Tree oil is steam distilled from the Melaleuca alternifolia shrub. Enjoy tea tree oil for use in your toiletries, spa and around the home.[1] Tea Tree Oil is a volatile product distilled from the leaves of the tea tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) found in parts of Australia. This product contains substances called terpenes, which have a powerful antibacterial action.[2] Tea tree oil, with its medicinal, fresh, woody, earthy fragrance, is a deep cleansing and stimulating oil with strong antibacterial properties. It is used for all kinds of abrasions and pains, and is useful for soothing problem skin.[3]
Tea Tree oil is superior to the products you buy in the pharmacy for lice and scabies. It dissolves the lice and egg on contact stopping reproduction in its tracks.[7] Tea Tree Oil has been used by the Aboriginal tribes of Australia for thousands of years. Australian aboriginals used tea tree leaves for healing skin cuts, burns, and infections by crushing the leaves and applying them to the affected area.[8] Tea tree oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy . Consult your doctor before using this product.[9]
Tea tree oil can alleviate the discomfort of sore muscles or joint injuries by being massaged into the affected area . [13] Tea tree oil is very effective in the presence of pus and it does not harm healthy tissue. Instead, it promotes the growth and repair of healthy tissue, which lessens the chance of scarring.[14] Tea tree oil has some interesting research demonstrating it to be an effective antimicrobial agent. The Journal of Applied Microbiology (January 2000, pages 170–175) stated that "The essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity.[15]
