The Therapeutic Benefits of Ban Lan Gen Tea
Ban lan gen, also known as isatis or woad root, has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and by herbalists. Modern research has confirmed many of this potent root's traditional uses and health benefits.
What is Ban Lan Gen?
Ban lan gen comes from the root of the Isatis indigotica plant or Ban lan gen shu. In Chinese, ban means "half" and lan gen means "root," referring to how the roots are often split lengthwise before drying. The plant is native to certain mountainous regions of China.
Ban lan gen root is prized for its broad anti-viral and anti-bacterial effects in TCM. It contains potent compounds such as indirubin and tryptanthrin which give ban lan gen its blue color. These may help inhibit viral replication and boost immune response. Ban lan gen also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.

How To Brew Ban Lan Gen Chong Ji Tea
The instructions state add one packet to 1 cup of hot boiling water. It is best not to microwave the water, but to bring the water to a full boil on the stove. Add the boiling hot water to the cup and stir the granules until dissolved. Let cool to desired temperature and drink. For me personally when I use this tea, I inhale the steam from the tea cup to help my nasal congestion. I enjoy the fragrant aroma, well as the mug of hot tea warming my hands.

My TCM doctor recommended this product for staying healthy, especially in light of Covid-19. It has always succeeded in removing any signs of feeling that something was coming on. I would not be without Southern Ban Lan Gen. Thank you.

Ban Lan Gen Tea
This tea simply works! I'll feel a cold coming on and begin drinking the tea and I'm over the symptoms usually by the next day. I generally drink the tea and also take a half dozen Yu Ping Feng Wan tea pills at the same time. Three servings a day works for me.

Ban Lan Gen Tea
This product is just the BEST thing there is for thwarting an on coming cold that I've found. When I feel a cold coming on I take three cups of these the first day and taper off (usually just one cup) over the next couple of days.
