1. Velvet Voice Tea – For Sore Throats & Dry Lungs
Purpose: Soothes sore, dry throats and nourishes Lung Yin, especially in dry climates or post-viral irritation
Ingredients:
1 dried fig
4 goji berries (Gou Qi Zi)
3 red jujube dates (Hong Zao)
2 thin slices of fresh ginger
3 petals of dried rose buds
1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
1 slice of sea coconut (Hai Di Ye), optional for extra Lung support
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan with 2.5 cups of water.
2. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a low simmer for 15–20 minutes.
3. Strain into a cup and sip warm.
Usage:
Perfect in the evening after speaking all day or recovering from a dry cough. Can be used 3–4x/week.
2. Dream Root Decoction – For Sleep, Fatigue & Spirit Nourishment
Purpose: Nourishes Heart and Liver Blood, calms Shen, and supports sleep
Ingredients:
3g Suan Zao Ren (Zizyphus seed)
2 pieces dried lily bulb (Bai He)
1 small black jujube
1 slice cooked Rehmannia root (Shu Di Huang)
1/2 tsp chrysanthemum flowers (Ju Hua)
1 dried longan fruit
Directions:
1. Gently simmer herbs in 3 cups of water for 25–30 minutes until reduced to about 1.5–2 cups.
2. Strain and drink 30–60 minutes before bed.
Usage:
Use during times of mental exhaustion, disrupted sleep, or low Shen (spirit energy).
3. Warming Qi Broth – For Digestion, Energy & Post-Cold Recovery
Purpose: Strengthens Spleen Qi, gently warms the core, and supports digestion
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp stir-fried white peony root (Chao Bai Shao)
1 slice Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis)
1 slice fresh ginger
2 lotus seeds (Lian Zi)
1/2 tsp American ginseng powder (Xi Yang Shen)
A few soaked peach resin droplets (optional for Yin balancing)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients with 3 cups of water in a slow cooker.
2. Cook on high for 2 hours (or low for 4).
3. Strain and sip as a warming broth throughout the day.
Usage:
Ideal after menstruation, post-cold recovery, or when feeling physically and emotionally depleted.

Instructions:
Simmer in 2 cups water for 20 minutes. Strain and sip warm, up to 3 times daily.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Du Huo (Angelica pubescens)

Instructions:
Decoct all ingredients in 4 cups water down to 2. Drink 1 cup in the morning and evening.
Why it works: Supports healthy circulation and eases damp-induced joint discomfort.

Ingredients:

Instructions:
Steep in alcohol (1:5 ratio) for 4–6 weeks. Take 1 dropperful in the morning.
