This is a two-herb combination for relieving pain associated with muscle spasm. Bai Shao and Gan Cao in TCM are holistically used for muscle spasms. This naturally crafted formula of Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang aids in supporting relief for chronic spasms in the calf muscles and abdominal cramping. Peony and Licorice Tea pills is currently used for a variety of pain presentations. The synergistic combination of the two herbs move qi and blood in the liver and along the liver channels.

Bai Shao aids in nourishing the blood while preserving yinSupports to soften the liver and alleviates pain. Bai Shao promotes in regulating the liver and spleen while nourishing the sinews.

Gan Cao aids in tonifying and augmenting the qi of the middle jiao, especially that of the spleen.  Gan Cao aids in helpful balance where disharmony between the liver, stomach and muscle spasms are present.
