What Does Full-Spectrum Extract Mean?
Full-spectrum means the extract is made to preserve a variety of the herb's naturally occurring compounds, rather than focusing on just one. Think of it as capturing a broader range of what the original herb contains in a convenient powder form. It doesn't necessarily contain everything found in the whole herb, but it offers an easy-to-use alternative to preparing dried herbs.
What Is Yi Yi Ren?
Yi Yi Ren, also called Coix Seed or Job's Tears, comes from Coix lacryma-jobi, a grass traditionally cultivated in Asia.
Whole Coix seeds have been used for generations in soups, porridges, and other traditional foods. Yi Yi Ren also has a long history in traditional Chinese herbal practice.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Yi Yi Ren is described as sweet, bland, and slightly cool, with traditional associations to the Spleen, Stomach, and Lung meridians.
These classifications describe historical TCM concepts rather than established medical effects.
