Star Anise is a popular ingredient in both savory and sweet recipes.  It also offers many health benefits.  Traditionally Ba Jiao Hui Xiang warms the yang, dissipates cold, regulates the Qi and alleviates pain.  Star Anise contains carminative and galactagogue properties. It benefits the reproductive, urinary and musculoskeletal systems. Ba Jiao Hui Xiang has a licorice like taste that combines well with fennel, ginger, licorice, allspice and cinnamon.  It has natural antibiotic, antifungal, antibacterial and antioxidant properties.  Ba Jiao Hui Xiang benefits digestion, memory and may help ease pain.
