Herbal TeaNPR discussed the benefits of teas in their article Tea Tuesdays: Tea-Drinking Tips For A Longer Life. A project called Blue Zones is studying communities with the highest concentrations of centenarians (people who live to be 100 years or older) on earth. Drinking tea seems to be an essential component of life in the regions where longevity is common.

Some of the teas discussed in the article include jasmine tea, green or oolong tea, rosemary tea, oregano tea, mint tea, and many more.  In fact, people on the Greek island of Ikaria are said to use herbs and teas as medicine and tend to drink them for a period of time before going to see a doctor.
